What to Expect with Irrigation Maintenance

If your irrigation system is working properly, your lawn will be healthy and well maintained. You should not see any brown patches anywhere in your yard. You should also not have any patches of flooded water or anything that looks out of place. You must make sure that your irrigation system is maintained properly. If it is not, you run the risk of having a lawn that is not perfect as well as wasting money.

Your automatic irrigation system must water your lawn properly. To make sure that your equipment is running how it should, you will need to ensure that you have periodic maintenance done to the system. Doing this helps to ensure that the equipment is properly started in spring and turned off properly in the fall months. You can find these services through our Irrigation Maintenance Program. Here at Irrigation Masters, we work to ensure that your equipment is running properly. We come out for three visits throughout the year.

Spring Start-Up Service

The very first visit in the year will be during the spring. Our professional service technicians will come out to turn your system on and thoroughly check the system out. Check out our Spring Start-Up Service page for more in-depth details.

Mid- Season System Performance Evaluation

Sometime during the summer months, we will come out to make sure that your irrigation system is working as it should. If we have an exceptionally dry summer, we may need to fine-tune your equipment to make sure that it is operating at the correct level. During this time, we will clean the heads, make sure that the equipment does not need repairs, reevaluate the output of the irrigation system, and we will inspect for any leaks.

Fall Weatherization Service

It is very important to make sure that you call us to help you properly winterize everything. Systems poorly winterized can be susceptible to break downs, leaks, and further damage. When you call us out to winterize your equipment, we will make sure that we blowout the lines, valves, rotors, and heads of the equipment before freezing weather arrives. You can rest easy during the winter months knowing that your irrigation equipment will not be damaged.
